English Tutor

Marion graduated with a BA in English and Philosophy from the University of San Francisco and a MA in English from the California State University, Los Angeles. She has over 40 years of education experience as a middle/high school teacher, college professor and head of school for several private schools. With her extensive curriculum development background, Marion loves customizing learning experiences for each of her students based on their needs and interests. As an high school teacher, she taught British literature, American literature, World literature, introduction to composition, advanced composition and AP English. At the college level, Marion has taught Composition 1, Composition 2, American literature, World literature and Developmental Writing. Marion's personal motto is "I teach students, not material" and believes this is why all her students improve so much while working with her.
