Tess Taylor, M.A., M.Ed.

Tess Taylor holds a B.A. in Journalism-Advertising from the University of Oklahoma, where she was a member of Delta Delta Delta, served on the executive board of the Bridge Builder program for minority student-athletes, and earned Dean’s List recognition. She also holds a Master’s of Education from Washington State University, a Master’s of Art in Performance and Sport Psychology, and has begun doctoral coursework in higher education. She applies her background in performance psychology to help students strengthen self-efficacy, overcome challenges, and achieve ambitious goals through motivational interviewing.

Tess specializes in college application strategy, essay development, and academic coaching. Her students have been accepted to Harvard, Rice, George Washington, Spelman, the University of Texas, Southern Methodist University, Texas Christian University, Texas A&M, Parsons School of Design at The New School, SCAD, and more.

Dr. Desiree Taylor, PhD.

Desiree Taylor holds a Ph.D. in Higher Education and teaches business and mathematics at Montana State University. She earned her B.S. in Chemical Engineering and M.B.A. from the University of Oklahoma as a Division I basketball player, as well as a Master’s in Mathematics Education. With more than 20 years of experience in education, she has taught mathematics, chemistry, and physics, developed STEM curriculum, advised students, and provided private one-on-one tutoring at the middle school, high school, and collegiate levels.

Through a National Science Foundation-funded program, Desiree developed innovative STEM curriculum designed to engage and encourage middle and high school students to pursue STEM fields. She has also served as an assistant director of academic advising for student-athletes at the University of Oklahoma and Southern Methodist University, where she helped student-athletes develop academic plans, identify resources, and achieve their educational goals.
